Amnesty International and Buffetlibre release PEACE, the first music atlas on the net. PEACE, a unique initiative co-produced by Buffetlibre and Amnesty International Catalunya, and featuring a track from Buck 65, is now available, including more than 180 exclusive and unreleased songs by artists from more than 50 countries.

You can stream the compilation at www.buffetlibredjs.net/peace.html and download it for a donation to Amnesty International Catalunya.

Among the 182 artists participating in this project there are acclaimed musicians and exciting new talents from countries and territories such as USA, England, France, Spain, China, Mali, Japan, Congo, Senegal, Venezuela, Cuba, Israel, Palestine, New Zealand, Tibet, Turkey or Thailand, to name only a few.

YEAR OF THE CARNIVORE- a film by Sook Yin Lee, with original music by Buck 65- is coming to theatres in Canada! The movie opens in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver on June 18th.

The Dakota Nights for War Child event was a great success! It was sold out, and all who came were treated to an amazing set from Buck 65, with a sneak peak at some material from the new record.

We are excited to announce the event, An Evening with Buck 65, which will take place at The Dakota Tavern in Toronto on Friday, January 22nd, 2010. This very special night is part of Dakota Nights for War Child, a unique benefit concert series featuring intimate performances by celebrated artists, hosted by The Dakota Tavern and War Child Canada. Doors will open at 7:00 pm and the show will begin at 8:00 pm. All proceeds will support War Child Canada,a registered charity that provides humanitarian assistance to war-affected children in some of the most devastated regions of the world. You'll find it in the September 11, 2009 post. I kinda wish I kept the chorus like that. I think I like it better!

The World Premiere for “Year of the Carnivore”, directed by Sook-Yin Lee, will happen Thursday September 10 @ 7:30pm at the Varsity Theatre in Toronto for the Toronto International Film Festival 2009. The Musical score for this film was created by - you guessed it - Buck 65. If you're in the Toronto area, come take a look. If not, be on the lookout for "Year of the Carnivore" in your part of the world soon (fingers crossed).
